Classes in the format of SMART groups in the gym with a professional trainer
Strength training in the gym is perhaps the most popular type of training in fitness clubs. Let's figure out what effect you can get from regular strength training in the gym. 
 
Lose weight
Strength training is an anaerobic type of exercise and is indispensable for effective fat burning. Studies have shown that regular strength training increases the metabolic rate. Your body will burn calories for several more hours after you have finished your workout, even when you are resting or sleeping.  
 
To tone up the body
Regular strength training helps to strengthen the muscular corset of the body and visually you will become more fit. During strength training, you can work on certain muscle groups and adjust your figure. And you will also become stronger and more resilient.
 
Strengthen your health
Strength training strengthens not only muscles, but also tendons and ligaments. Strong muscles improve posture, provide good joint support – all this helps us move properly in everyday life, reduces the risk of injuries and joint diseases. In addition, strength training improves the state of the cardiovascular system.

One of the effects of intensive classes is an improvement in mood. Regular physical activity has been proven to reduce depression, anxiety symptoms, emotional stress and fatigue.
 
How to practice?
Most often, strength training in the gym is done either with a personal trainer or independently. In our MyFitlab fitness clubs, we have introduced another format of such classes – in small groups. You can find them in the schedule as "GYM girls" and "GYM men".
 
We have specifically divided the groups into men's and women's groups in order to build workouts taking into account the characteristics of the female and male organisms.
 
What do such classes consist of?
Strength training takes place in the gym under the guidance of an experienced trainer. In strength training, the technique of performing exercises and breathing are of great importance. The coach will explain "how to do it right", will monitor the rhythm and your technique during the lesson. Special attention is paid to exercises on the muscles of the legs, abs and arms. In this lesson, you will perform exercises with free weight (barbells, dumbbells), and on simulators. You will analyze in detail and work out the technique of exercises. If necessary, the trainer will advise you on rational nutrition and safe intake of sports supplements.
